“Lepas accident polis semua cabut… Jilake…” – Bapa muda maut dalam kemalangan, wanita ini dakwa polis buat roadblock tengah highway sebagai punca?

Aku tak ada kuasa. Tapi aku sebagai pengguna jalan raya berhak bersuara sebab ia melibatkan nyawa. Harini nasib saudara mara esok lusa entah siapa pula. Kalau ya pun menjalankan tugasan kerja biarlah berpada2. Tak sajak betul sekatan jalan raya di highway. Baik krete motor lori mahupun basikal pasti laju bila dihighway. Pada aku tak boleh dan tak sajak adakan roadblock di highway. Bukan salah kita tapi kita yg jd mangsa. Sungguhpun kita tak salah. Kita mangsa keadaan. Sedangkan kita mengikut peraturan tapi kita disebat dari belakang. Lost word tak tau nk desribe mcm mana.

My son in law Haziq passed away early yesterday morning. I was probably flying over the indian ocean heading home.

Allah gives and Allah takes back. My daughter, Salmah is now a widow, while my two grandchildren, Alisha and Aydeen are now fatherless.

Salmah is recuperating in the Kulai Hospital. She has bruises all over her body and i hope she can be discharged today. Poor Alisha has a broken leg and warded at the Johor Bantu Hospital. AlhamduliLlah, Aydeen is ok, but he seems confused as he is dependent on his mother’s milk which has dried up as Salmah is traumatic and not earning properly. Thank God, Salman is accompanying Alisha at the hospital and has to answer her queries on the where about of her parents.

According to Salman, Haziq who was seating in the back seat with Alisha realised imminent danger as he realised the lorry behind was gaining speed and was about to ram the car. He quickly threw Alisha to the front seat to save her moments before the crash. The rest is history, but in my eyes, Haziq died a hero in saving Alisha. . .

Abdul Salam has also been a pillar of strength in helping out. Thank you, my son who ran ragged from Hospital Johor Bantu and Kulai to oversee the requirements from the hospitals.

There is always a silver lining behind all misfortunes. The family is more united than ever. Ahmad Sulaiman will arrive from Kelantan later this morning. Suhaimi will fly in from Melbourne on the 23rd.

Thank you to all who visited Salmah and Alisha. My appreciation to those who assisted in the funeral of my son-in-law in Melaka. My gratitude to all who have helped as I only reached Malaysia at 1720. Thank you to all the well-wishers and those who prayed for my family. Thank you to my sister Nor Akmar and Anas AMuslim who waited for me at KLIA and drove me back to Johor Baru. Thank you Pak Amir Rusli for the concern.

It is now my main responsibility to take care of Salmah, Alisha and Aydeen. Berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu sipemikul. Salmah will face a huge challenge to raise her two children on her own. We are looking at relocating ourselves to Zanzibar and start afresh in June. Insha Allah.

Such is life.
